lyrics
New generations born
Designed to be controlled
Indoctrinate their conceptions to maintain their status quo
Deep inside your brain
Your feelings are restrained
Persuade to domesticate
Turning you into a commodity
Slaves of modern times
Where labeled and mechanized
To just believe in lies
This cycle never expires
The eyes cannot see beyond
The walls of perception
Alienation made us weak
But strong for system's need
Programmed minds
In structured patterns
The essence is neglected
The self becomes the master
Mind parasites
Sucking all your life
Predators of mankind
Building your demise
Manipulate the masses through deception
Herd behavior mankind has been anesthetized
Those who do not move do not notice their chains
Inoculated fear
Repressive machinery
Inertia opposing action
No way to liberation

i checked out bands coming to my town, and xoth were on the list. at first i thought they were cheesy since i only liked metal to be deep, dark, and atmospheric .
i did enjoy the technical complexity, so i gave them another chance. i equated shredding with jockishness (ugh), but i now see it as a creative choice. i just had to approach it on my own terms, and xoth was the perfect gateway for this. they really opened up a new world for me. quasiotter
One of the only bands whose beat blasts through your headphone and still sounds melodic. What an album!
And there's more but I'll leave you to it! QuarkStorm
